Where do all our books come from? They come from you!

The tens of thousands of books we receive and resell every year are a testament to Northfield’s love of books, and we love being part of it.

We’ll take all your (non-moldy) books, CDs, LPs, DVDs, puzzles, and games.

The only things we can’t handle are VHS tapes, cassettes, 78s, software, dictionaries, encyclopedias, magazines, and those pesky Readers Digest condensed books.

There are carts available to help you move books from your car to the Ice Arena, and limited volunteer help is available by request.

Donation FAQs

• Can I donate my books before the April donation window?
  If you can hold your books until April, that’s the best option. We do have a very limited amount of storage space that we maintain for large donations that can’t wait — e.g. estates being cleaned out, people downsizing and leaving the area. Contact us for more information.
